With love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the memory of Gilmar M. Gonzalez — a beloved husband, devoted father, loyal son and brother, and a true leader in his community. Gilmar passed away on October 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, humility, and unwavering dedication to his family and life’s work.

Born on July 24, 1975, Gilmar’s journey was defined by resilience, intellect, and integrity. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering, he went on to build a distinguished 26-year career with Boeing, contributing to several major initiatives, including the Columbia Space Shuttle program at NASA.

Gilmar was self-made and deeply principled—a man whose quiet strength and determination inspired everyone around him. He approached his work and life with humility, courage, and a relentless drive for excellence. His colleagues respected and admired him not only for his brilliance but also for his kindness and compassion.

Gilmar was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Maureen Gonzalez, and a deeply caring father to his cherished children, Sebastian and Ava. His love for them was boundless, his guidance gentle yet steady, and his presence a constant source of strength and joy. He lived each day grounded in the values of family, generosity, and integrity.

He is also survived by his devoted mother, Elsy Gonzalez, whose teachings shaped the man he became, and by his siblings Silvia Contreras, Emmanuel Gonzalez, Arely Chavez and Jorge Gonzalez, who knew him as not only a brother but also a confidant, protector, and source of wisdom.

Gilmar was more than his accomplishments. He was a pillar of his community—always ready to offer help, a listening ear, or a steady hand to lift others up. He touched countless lives with his warmth, his laughter, and his steadfast loyalty. To know him was to know generosity, humility, and quiet strength.

Gilmar’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of all who loved and admired him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the extraordinary man he was—a man who gave endlessly, loved deeply, and lived honorably.

Though he has left this world, Gilmar’s spirit, example, and love live on in all of us. We will carry his memory forward with pride, grace, and the same courage he showed every day.

We deeply miss you!
